Cyber savvy
A fundamental aspect of preserving wellness is being able to mitigate & counteract what threatens it.
The purpose of this Cyber savvy workshop is to help learners protect themselves both online and offline from harmful forms of psychological engineering.
What is Psychological Engineering?
Psychological Engineering (PE) is the process of manipulating an intended target(s) BVEMPA’s (Beliefs, Values, Ethics, Morals, Principles, Attitudes) whether directly and/or indirectly for a specific purpose. It does not necessarily need to involve malicious motives. Yet unless trained, unable to recognise such dangers can lead to one’s demise.
Since what is deemed harmful is subjective, the focus of this workshop is adapted for two audiences and the applicable nature in which BVEMPA’s apply;
1) Teams that work in a business environment &
2) Teachers for those in a school environment
The digital age has changed the landscape in which criminals and bad actors operate with them becoming more creative in their methods to manipulate target.
